Financial integration and interconnectedness is making significant progress not only in global financial markets but also in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations plus the People’s Republic of China, Japan, and the Republic of Korea (ASEAN+3) region. In parallel, global regulatory initiatives have led to environmental changes in capital markets in the domain of collateral transactions. Securing and utilizing eligible collateral in cross-border financial transactions is also considered an important competence in financial stability. Consequently, the role of bonds as collateral is on a growth trend and the significance of high-quality liquid bonds in financial transactions is increasing.
