Uncertainty about COVID-related business interruption losses continues toease and courts are siding with insurers in most cases, especially in the U.S.While re/insurers still face the tail risk of a spike in claims, this seems less likelythan previously. Among our coverage firms, we believe that HIG has the mostexposure to BI claims, followed by TRV. AIG, CB, ACGL, and RNR are exposedas well, but to a lesser extent. With the exception of HIG, most stocks do not seemto be trading with an embedded discount due to BI concerns. Still, furtherfavorable outcomes from court cases is a potential positive catalyst for HIG.
