We compare todays spread levels and recent tightening to that of the mostrecent widening and subsequent “normalized” period from Sep 2017-Jan2020 to determine where spreads should be trading in todays “normalized” environmentOur conclusion is that there is still a bit of juice left in the energy index,mainly driven by compression potential in the midstream and E&P spaces,but we’re getting closer to a point where we would view spreads asappropriate and fairly valued given historical trends
