This Sustainable Asset Valuation (SAVi) assessment of the non-motorized transport (NMT) network in Coimbatore, India, is part of a series of nine SAVi assessments on sustainable transport and mobility projects. The assessments aim to raise awareness on sustainable transport infrastructure investments and inform decision-makers on the use of systemic approaches in supporting the transformation toward sustainable mobility. The assessments also integrate the economic valuation of social and environmental impacts, such as health and CO2 emissions, and aim to highlight their importance for the transport investment decision making processes.
