We have all felt the effects of a disrupted foodsupply chain in recent years. Having been a farmermyself for many decades, I know that there iswidespread understanding across industry that thecurrent food system is unsustainable – both for theenvironment and for farmers’ livelihoods, and thewider public is becoming increasingly aware of thechallenges we face. As farmers adapt to the post-Brexit agricultural support system, feel the increasingeffects of climate change, and face evermore volatileinternational supply chains, we must accelerate the adoption of regenerative farming.
